Viewing the Media Netcast Broadcast

System requirements for Users

Under this subheading insert the following:

  1. Software: Windows 2000/XP, Windows Media Player 9.0, MNC Player (downloaded and installed).
  2. Hardware: any PC that can run Windows 2000/XP.
  3. Network: High speed internet, for example, DSL or Cable modems.

Download

  1. Open an Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
  2. Go to medianetcast.com
  3. Click on the 'Channels' tab on the home page.
  4. Click on 'Download Player'
  5. When a dialog box appears which offers a choice of opening the file or saving to disk, chose 'Save to Disk.'
  6. If offered a choice for a saving location, choose desktop so that the file will be easy to find.
  7. After download is complete <15 seconds, go to the file labeled mnc_Setup_0_0_0_3.exe.

Install

  1. Click on the downloaded file mnc_Setup_0_0_0_3.exe.
  2. When you see the Setup Wizard, click next.
  3. Accept the License Agreement, click next.
  4. Select the destination for the MNC Player file, click next.
  5. Specify the folder for the start menu, click next.
  6. Verify the information entered, click next.
  7. Click Finish.

  1. Return to the browser with the 'Channels' page.
  2. Click on the Channel Link you would like to view.
  3. Dialog box opens to advise you to wait for Windows Media Player to start up.
  4. Enjoy the show!

stop

  1. To stop the program, close Windows Media Player and in the MNC dialog box click on 'Stop.'
  2. Close the MNC dialog box.
  3. To view another channel, click on the desired Channel Link.
  4. To exit, close the Browser.
